Shan Albert is Director of Education and Product Development for Zed Laboratories. Zed's unique product lines bear witness to her unwavering devotion to creating skin care products and cosmeceuticals that are extremely effective, while maintaining a commitment to using ingredients which are naturally derived, chirally correct, free from artificial colour, artificial fragrance and artificial preservatives.
Shan has more than 20 years experience in Esthetics and is a licensed esthetician. For 17 years she was an owner of a preeminent skin care salon in Southern California. She was one of the original pioneers in the 'green movement' for personal care formulations. Her expertise in the esthetics field led to her becoming an educator and international speaker. She has conducted numerous classes on various products and procedures for estheticians and physicians.
Shan has helped salons establish their esthetics department. She has developed upscale skin care lines for salons and other companies worldwide. Those products appear in top department stores, network marketing companies, salons, spas, physician's offices and direct marketing catalogs.
Shan has appeared in various media to bring her philosophy of esthetics to the public. She has also appeared on various informational videos produced by her clients, as well as on direct marketing television programs.
Shan's current project is the introduction to the consumer of her personal product choices for basic, effective daily skin care.
